Home-stay with nomadic family

Every year we have numbers of tourists who would like to experience the nomadic livelihood together with Mongolian families and our company is one of the few that provides such services.

Nomadic home-stay involves living together with nomadic family. During your stay there you can experience the nomadic life and see first hand one of the last remaining truly nomadic civilizations in the world. You can participate in daily activities such as herding the animals, milking, de-hairing, etc. There will be also some limited amount of horseback riding. It should be noted that there is no special program organized for the tourist since it is a normal nomadic family that lives as it is and the purpose of the program is to provide a glimpse of their real life.

The price is 25 USD per person per day including accommodation, meals, limited amount of horseback riding.

The transportation price varies: it can be 160 USD if you travel to the Bayan-Enjuul county located in some 200 kms from the city. The county is rarely visited by the foreigners since it is located off the transportation routes. This is the combination of grass lands, semi-desert areas, mountains. It is rugged and picturesque location.

Other locations vary and price is 50-90 USD depending on the distance. The areas are in 80-90 kms from the town. The locations are in the Central province.
